We live in a world where everything changes so fast. We don’t have time to slow down.
I think I need to constantly remind myself to slow down, to enjoy the time that I have now. With my mom, who was visiting us last fall-winter season. With my girls who are still small and sweet with those chubby cheeks. With my still Husband-to-be, with whom we still want to plan a milestone, a special occasion to happen.
I find that Photography is the way to slow down for me and grasp the Now. And there are no any second thoughts for me to decide on what genre I’m naturally drawn to — Family Photography!
Thanks to Family Photography, every month of the 1st year of both of my girls was documented. First smile, first yawn, attempts to turn around on the belly, holding the head, first crawling, first steps, tons of photos of my sweeties in different outfits and from different angles, lighting situations. Because I didn’t want to miss any of that!
Also every family gathering, milestone, holiday — all were captured. I love the naturalness of everything what was and is happening, because I think it is very important to keep it that way. Because when we are older, we can look at those pictures and come back to that place, instantly remembering yourself there, and the feeling experienced at that moment.
When I have a photo session with a family, I am so excited and I understand that it is very important for them. It is an event for them, it is the time they want to enjoy together. And I believe it should be fun for everyone, including the photographer😊
When idea, preparation, the process and mood of a photo session all come together, we all creating a long-lasting experience — that is what I call a successful session! And it gives me tons of joy!

Maria was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her expertise and skills in the art of photography is superior. Photographing young children is not a easy task, especially my middle one. She was a wonder with our children. She has the patience and understanding. She didn't put all her focus in to being structured. She followed their lead to bring a natural look and enjoyable experience for them. I am beyond pleased with my photos as they are so stunning and captured the beautiful and loving family we are. I wasn't expecting to have lots of good ones and then it ended up being a challenge to pick my favorites.
